Nesia is the Country Director at CBM International, a leading International Organization on Disability and Inclusion Initiatives. Nesia has over 15 years of expertise on international development with vast experience in INGO’s management, Disability Inclusive Development, Leadership and Corporate Governance, Business Strategy focusing on health, youth and education. She also serves as a Board Director and Board Vice-Chairperson for Foundation for Civil Society in Tanzania. She previously worked at the British Council as Director of Programmes and Business Development and Acting Country Director. Nesia also served as President of the Netherlands Alumni Association of Tanzania, Chairperson of Obama Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI-RLC) Chapter and Vice President for Tanzania United States Alumni Association (TUSSAA). She is a fellow of the Netherlands Fellowship Programme and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy from the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. Nesia was appointed by Tony Elumelu Foundation, the largest African Philanthropic Initiative to mentor youth entrepreneurs in Africa. She is the co-founder of the African Youth Leadership Transformation Summit and was awarded Honorary Diploma on Leadership by the Swiss Crans Montana Foundation. She enjoys creative designing, adventures and travelling.
